How long will it take to get my wedding dress?

You can expect to receive your wedding gown in 6-8 weeks after payment is cleared. We continually follow-up with all orders to monitor status and head off any potential delays.

Can I make some changes to this gown?

Shock Bridal do not have an alteration service, however you can alter your dress, speak to us about our recommended alteration services.

How do I tell you the size or measurements?

Please forward the size or measurements you need to us by email or mail so there are no discrepancies. These sizes will be confirmed to your via email or mail prior to processing and order placement.

How do you ship the products?

All Wedding dresses and apparel will be shipped by registered express mail service. After shipping of the goods, we will provide a tracking number to track the delivery, to offer you extra peace of mind.

Do you do custom make dresses?

Yes, all of our dresses are custom made for you unless you want to order a ready made dress – all this means is that if you order a ready made size you will receive your dress quicker. We have selected our suppliers as they are the biggest manufacturers of wedding gowns and apparel. Our dresses and apparel come from United States, Great Britain & China. Our manufacturers have the best designers and seamstresses in the industry so we can assure you, you will find satisfaction in the gown that has been made make exclusively for you.

What's your return policy?

Shock Bridal will refund your purchase price less the deposit, this basically covers shipping costs as long as the item you have purchased is returned to us within 7 days after receiving it and is in their original condition. Dresses that have been custom made for you can be returned also, however your deposit will be non-refundable.

Cancellation Policy

If for any reason you need to cancel your order, you can do so within 3 days of order placement. If cancellation notice is received within these 3 days your deposit will be fully refundable. Cancellation notices will not be taken over the phone and are required either via email or mail recording your name, date and time of cancellation.

In order to have the best possible experience, we strongly recommend that you have your measurements taken by a professional before buying any Shock Bridal wedding gown or bridesmaid dress.

How to Measure

1. Strapless (or upper bust) – just above your bust.
2. (1) Bust – Not your bra size! Take the tape around your back and bring it across the fullest part of your bust. Your arms should be relaxed, down at your sides. You must wear a bra when taking this measurement.
3. (2) Udder bust – just under your bust.
4. Waist – this is the smallest part of your waist. Typically it's an inch or so above your belly button. Also known as the natural waistline.
5. Hips – this is the widest part of your hips, across the hipbone. Measurement is taken approximately 7 inches below the natural waistline.
6. Shoulder to feet – this is the length from your shoulder to your feet. You should stand upright without your shoes and your feet should be kept together. Let the tape across your bust in the front and drop naturally.
7. Shoulder to Apex – this is the length from your shoulder to your nipple.
8. Shoulder to Belly Button – this is the length from your shoulder to your belly button.
9. Shoulder to Shoulder – this is the width of your shoulder.
10. Apex to Apex – this is the distance between your two nipples.
11. Up Arm Perimeter – take the tape around your up arm and bring it across the fullest part of your arm.
12. Neck Perimeter – the circumference of your neck.
13. Shoulder to Wrist – top of the shoulder to wrist.
14. Height without shoes – from head to feet without shoes.
